Job Description:

We are seeking some talented and enthusiastic WordPress Developers who are passionate and excited to be involved in digital product development and be a part of Strativ. Code with us the sensible way, using continuous integration, automated testing and deployment, proper testing/staging servers, and all other DevOps practices that make developers’ lives easier overall

Job Responsibilities:

• Building and implementing new themes and plugins.

• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks using Carbon fields or ACF.

• Convert designs from Figma into pixel-perfect responsive web pages.

• Develop & maintain sites built with Elementor, Gutenberg, and DIVI.

• Work closely with designers on implementing designs into code.

• Measure and optimize overall web page performances.

• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered in a timely fashion.

• Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables.

• Hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing of issues during development and post-release for customer support.

• Write and maintain detailed technical documentation.

• Participate in sprint planning discussions.

• Client communication and project management.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional web development experience.

• Strong English communication skills both verbal and written must.

• Be able to listen to and act on feedback.

• Solid experience in PHP as a programming language.

• Solid understanding of agile development practices including sprints, epics, user stories, and development tasks.

• Proficient in writing maintainable CSS / SCSS with a strong understanding of Flexbox & experience working with responsive web design CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap / Semantic UI.

• Familiar with build tools such as Parcel, WebPack, and Gulp.

• In-depth knowledge of WordPress custom theme development, template hierarchies, hooks, and filters.

• Experience with implementing blocks using Gutenberg in WordPress.

• Good understanding of a relational database like MySQL/MariaDB.

• Strong understanding of project management tools in the Atlassian Suite.

• Familiarity with versioning tools such as Git. Platforms like Github & Bitbucket

• Experience working with debugging tools

• Knowledge of open-source WordPress theme boilerplates and the differences between them.

• Familiar with working with tools like Figma.

• Familiarity with cloud providers, such as Cloud Ways, WP Engine, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Digital Ocean.

Work Locations: Sagufta, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Employment: Full-time

Work status: Hybrid, with possibilities of weekly 1 to 2 days of remote work. 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range:  50000-80000 Bdt/Month

Weekly 2 holidays: Saturdays & Sundays

Working hours: 11 am- 7 pm (BDT)
