Job Description:

Strativ, a software company based in Sweden and Bangladesh, is seeking an ambitious and highly skilled PHP Developer / Magento who is passionate about advancing their career. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain PHP-based web applications, focusing on Magento and WordPress.

• Create, implement, and maintain custom themes and plugins for Magento and WordPress.

• Perform basic frontend tasks, including UI adjustments and performance optimization.

• Monitor and optimize web page performance for better user experiences.

• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve development and post-release issues efficiently.

• Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for future reference.

• Actively participate in sprint planning and Agile development processes.

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in PHP, Magento, and WordPress development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development / Magento.

• Strong expertise in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Strong debugging skills

• Strong knowledge of backend development principles and best practices.

• Experience with WordPress is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular) or a willingness to learn and work with them.

• Quick learner with an open-minded and adaptive approach to new technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Having fluency in English communication is a MUST.

Work Locations: Sagufta, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Employment: Full-time

Work status: Hybrid, with possibilities of weekly 1 to 2 days of remote work. 

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range:  40K-60K (Based on experience and expertise) 

Weekly 2 holidays: Saturdays & Sundays

Working hours: 11 am- 7 pm (BDT)
