Strativ, a software company based in Sweden and Bangladesh, is seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Mid-Senior Front End Developer who is passionate about advancing their career. We are specifically looking for a candidate with a strong willingness to learn new technologies and an ability to communicate effectively in English.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of a new highly responsive, web-based user interface

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.

• The responsibilities of this role may evolve to some extent over time, to create growth and leadership opportunities, new changing/emerging methodologies, and process improvements.

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience working on front-end development.

• 2-3 years experience in React.js

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.

• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities

• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance

• Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility are required

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript, RESTful APIs, data structure libraries (eg, Immutable.js) & modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, OAuth2

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Ability to mentor and delegate to more junior team members

• Professional understanding of code versioning using Git (GitHub).

• Familiar with the Agile development process.

Work Locations: Sagufta, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Employment: Full-time

Work status: Hybrid, with possibilities of weekly 1 to 2 days of remote work. 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range:  60K-120K Bdt/Month (Based on experience and expertise) 

• Weekly 2 holidays: Saturdays & Sundays.

• Working hours: 11 am- 7 pm (BDT).
