Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable products.
- Develop detailed test plans and cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide actionable feedback.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality assurance practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test plans, results, and other relevant information.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and results clearly to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement robust API testing frameworks and strategies.
- Ensure API specifications are met and maintained in collaboration with development teams.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth in QA and automation processes.
- Provide training sessions and hands-on support for junior team members, particularly in API testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in manual and automated testing with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency in tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, TestNG, Pytest, Jest.
- API Testing: Experience with API automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in implementing Page Object Model (POM), assertions, and environment management.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Knowledge of version control using Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and API automation integration.
- Experience with tools like JMeter, Locust, or similar for performance and load testing.
- Mobile application testing experience using Appium or similar tools.
- Understanding of Docker for application management and deployment.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Git Actions for continuous integration and delivery.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity testing tools, such as ZAP or equivalents (optional)
- Code Management: Ability to review and maintain automation codebases using Git workflows.
- Documentation: Experience in creating technical specifications, user manuals, release notes, and related documents is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software defects.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certifications (optional): ISTQB or similar certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.

Work Locations: Sagufta, Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Employment: Full-time
Work status: Hybrid, with possibilities of weekly 1 to 2 days of remote work.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: 60K-90K (Based on experience and expertise)
Weekly 2 holidays: Saturday and Sunday
Working hours: 11 am - 7 pm (BDT)
